Head of the Firm - Shimon Cohen, Adv.(CPA)
Adv. Cohen is highly experienced in various tax issues in Israel and worldwide and personally handles complex and diverse tax issues, including international taxation, trust taxation, voluntary disclosure procedures, and building optimal trust structures for Israeli and foreign groups.
Before founding the firm, Adv. Cohen served in senior positions at the Israel Tax Authority for 15 years, both in the field and at the headquarters, including Manager of International Taxation, Haifa Deputy Income Tax Assessor, and Tel Aviv 1 Deputy Income Tax Assessor, Manager of the International Taxation Unit, Professional Manager of the course for training Income Tax Supervisors, Manager of the Professional Department, and Manager of the Institute for Taxation Pre-Ruling. In his last position at the Tax Authority, Adv. Cohen served as Manager of the Professional Departments, Acting Professional Deputy Director and a member of management at the Tax Authority.
After he left the Tax Authority, Adv. Cohen served as Managing Director of the Amal chain of schools for a period of 3.5 years.
Adv. Cohen is a lecturer for Economics and Taxes at top academic institutions in Israel, including: Ben Gurion University, Tel Aviv University, the College of Management Academic Studies, Sapir Academic College, and Achva Academic College.
